No mobile information will be sold or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party, except with the service providers that help us deliver the messages you asked for, such as our messaging platform and telecommunications carriers. Those providers are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.
Please note the distinction: if you contact us specifically asking to be connected with a contractor, we will pass your contact details to that contractor so they can reach you — that is the service you requested, and it is described in Section 5. That is not the same as selling or renting your number for third-party marketing, which we do not do.
Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email, and it does not remove information you already submitted. To ask us to delete your information, see Section 8.
We share your information only in the circumstances below. We never sell it.
APS connects homeowners and businesses with vetted contractor partners. If you contact us looking to be connected with a contractor, we will share the details you submitted — such as your name, phone number, email address, service area, and a description of your project — with one or more contractor partners in your area so that they can contact you about the work.
Once a contractor partner receives your information, their own privacy practices govern how they use it. We are not responsible for a contractor partner’s privacy practices. If you no longer wish to hear from a contractor we introduced you to, please tell that contractor directly, and let us know as well so we can stop making further introductions.
If you contact us as a prospective contractor partner rather than as a customer, we do not share your inquiry with other contractors.
We use trusted third-party companies to run our business. They may process your information on our behalf, and are only permitted to use it to provide services to us. These include providers for:
